Do you want to save significantly on the purchase of water softening products? We have a tip for you! A washing machine filter for reduced water hardness. The filter consists of a casing and a polyphosphate filling, which is inside the casing. The chemical substance that dissolves in water prevents the formation of limescale. The effectiveness of the filter decreases partially with increasing water hardness. Over time, the release of polyphosphate decreases and it is necessary to replace the filter with a new one. Replacement is necessary approximately after 250 washes.

Important installation note:
- Installation space: The filter does not have a swivel union nut – during installation, the entire body of the filter is rotated. Before purchasing, ensure you have sufficient space around the washing machine valve (at least 5–6 cm from the wall) so that you can screw the filter on correctly and straight.
- Tip for a perfect seal: The filter’s internal plastic thread is quite deep. If the connection to the valve leaks slightly after being tightened by hand, insert a second flat 3/4" gasket (or a single thicker one) into the filter to eliminate any play. We recommend using Teflon tape on the external thread of the washing machine hose.
