Principle

In the water passing through the filter cartridge, calcium bicarbonate Ca(HCO3)2 crystallizes. These crystals remain very hard and harmless throughout the crystallization and degradation process.

As a consequence of the driving force of the solid crystals, the equilibrium of calcium particles changes - CO2 is released, soluble calcium Ca (HCO3)2 turns into insoluble crystals of calcium carbonate CaCO3. The calcium carbonate crystals solidify, are subsequently extremely stable, and therefore do not dissolve in water - preventing limescale deposition.

 We recommend performing service exchanges regularly once every 5 - 7 years.
